Grassports and Brisbane Boys College collaborated to create a cutting-edge grass replica, transforming a tiled courtyard into a dynamic look of a freshly mowed AFL/Cricket Field. The request was for two distinct shades of green – dark and light green in a alternate thick line pattern. Spanning 480m2 in none other than our SynLawn Comfort 30mm landscape grass this remarkable precinct on the schools rooftop location is an extraordinary sight. The rooftop location offers clear visibility from the main buildings above, allowing students, teachers, staff and visitors to the school to appreciate their new courtyard.
The school wanted the space to be transformed into a more inviting space for the students. A more comfortable pleasant ambiance moving away from the outdated tile aesthetic. In addition, the design incorporated a curved stage area which allowed for additional functions such as for the schools awards. To wrap up the project up, the custom school emblem ‘BBC’ was etched into the design.
